Nolan Ranch is located in Alisos Canyon. Alisos Canyon is an AVA (American Viticulture Area) located east of the small town of Los Alamos in Santa Barbara County. This area is heavily influenced by the marine-layer from the Pacific Ocean just 20 miles south. The cool fog bank flows up and down the canyon like an ebbing tide that adds a bright acidity to the wines that already show tons of minerality from the sandstone and shale weathered earth.
