The only words to describe this wife/husband duo is Power Couple. Blair and Caroline Guthrie get shit done in the wine industry and they seem to effortlessly do it while raising three kids, two dogs and seven chickens. I don’t know how but they do. During my short lived residency in Sonoma I became close friends with the Guthries and have continued to stay that way. Blair is one of the many, but probably most vocal people to continue to encourage *pester me to start making wine again, and I thank him for that. His exotic New Zealand accent playfully compliments the confidence and strength of Caroline’s Texas roots. On top of managing their family’s premium Napa wine brand , Stewart cellars which accesses some of Napa ‘s most coveted Cabernet from the Beckstoffer Vineyards, they have a creative and explorative wine project called Guthrie Family Wines. Guthrie Family Wines has some of the most creative label designs that accurately represent the equally eccentric wines they make.
